I'm out of ideas for a title again, ah well. "Traditional" Chinese ink painting, not sure how long it took me. Probably about 10 hours or so. I'm most happy with the letters, everything else is okay I suppose. A substitute teacher of mine decided to 'help' me by putting way too much ink there in the middle, next to the mountain. A lot of help that was... At least everything wasn't lost lol. The paper was tea-stained by my teacher, it was pretty neat. Ooo- and I used a sumi-e brush :D

It's now hanging on my wall from twine with bamboo on the top and bottom as a frame. It's lovely.

That's such beautiful work. If it was a print, I'd WELL add it to my wishlist - it's SOOO intricate and beautiful.
It looks really, really professional, Jessie :D You should be really proud :D
I love the tree and the blades of grass - the peachy colours are gorgeous as well.
The lettering is perfect, you did so well.
There's not a single thing I dislike.
More work like this :D it is beautiful. :)

Not quite so advanced critique: OOOO! Kewl. @___@

Ahem.

More so advanced: I don't know much about sumi-e painting, but: I must say, the characters look absolutely perfect. :3 My bro's into Chinese/Japanese calligraphy right now and your stuff looks straight out of his book. o.o I also like the compisition of the painting. The locations of the mountains and such. The only advice I can give is: don't let your subsitute teacher "help" you again. XD
